A day trip to 9 most sacred temples in Bangkok


Visit 9 temples in a day is possible, but you need a have a proper planning and the best way to do it is book a Taxi for a day trip, traveling not more than 4 persons in a group.
Timing is important, you need to get a good driver to bring you to each temple on time, and you need to be physically fit as well.
Started out at Wat Saket at 9am. Stick to the time schedule staying at each temples as below:
1. Wat Saket (10min) and The Golden Mount (20min)
2. Wat Suthat (20min) 3. Wat Bowornniwet (15 min)
4. Wat Chana Songkhram (15min)
5. Wat Phra Kaew (1hr)
Lunch: You can have a quick bite at Tha Chang Pier or to Wat Arun ferry Pier. (30min) You will start visit Wat Phrachetuphon or Wat Pho around 1pm.
6. Wat Phrachetuphon (50min)
7. Wat Kalayanamit (20min)
8. Wat Arun (50min)
9. Wat Rakhang
From 1 to 9 the travel distant is about 18km, it take about 60 min or more on the road traveling, depend on the traffic condition. It a great merit-making to do it once. Enjoy your trip!
Note: There will be admission fees charge from 20bht to 350bht at some temples for foreigner. You need to dress properly when you visit the temples. Do drink more water when to traveling.
