Wat Amphawan Chetiyaram - Samut Songkhram  


Located at Amphawa area, a district of Samut Songkhram province, is an important ancient temple, formerly was name
"Wat Amphawa". but was renamed by King Rama lll. It used to be a residential palace of Queen Amarindaramas, the mother of the Queen of King Rama l and also the birth place of King Rama ll.

The Ubosot is in early Ratanakosin style, various building and pagodas and mural inside the ordination hall depicting stories from the literature and scenes of the royal boat process. King Rama ll status of is situated at the side of the temple.

There is a Floating Market nearby, lots of local and tourist came here for foods and river tour.
