Wat Satha Puchaniyaram was founded in 1963. Founder of this temple is Venerable Phrakhru Saddhanukul Foo Hong Kim. Venerable Foo is a Singaporean, He was ordained as a monk in 1957 in Kedah, Malaysia. Venerable Foo has devoted more than 50 years of his life to spreading Buddhist faith and creating this temple as a enlightenment and worship for all. He passed away on 31 Oct 2011, at a age of 94.
