Wat Chiang Man - Chiang Mai  

One of the oldest temple in the city. Is built by the King Mengrai in 1297. In the smaller of the two wihans houses two important of the Buddha images. The most significant are the white crystal Buddha image of Phra Sae Tang Khamani in Lanna style and marble Buddha image of Phra Sila in the posture of sub-during the elephant "Nalakili".
